Public Scholarship

In addition to my peer-reviewed publications, I am engaged in a number of public scholarship efforts. Together with Georgia Tech colleagues, I co-host, write, and appear on two podcasts: “Residential Spread,” about higher education and coronavirus, and “Technically Pop,” an academically-focused popular culture podcast series. I have also written a number of posts for the TechStyle and World Englishes blogs at Georgia Tech on issues such as #BlackLivesMatter pedagogy, Zadie Smith’s fiction, and reflections on teaching crisis. I have also published book reviews on the International Crime Fiction Association blog and the Postcolonial Studies @ Emory website.
